Nominated artists wait in anticipation as the day of the big reveal slowly approaches , were deserving artists who have created a buzz over the past year recieve the token of appreciation from the SAMA family. Most categories are judged by a panal of judges exept best selling ulbum judged purely on sales , lifetime achievement award chosen by the executive commitee of RISA and record of the year which is decided by the general public. http//www.Thedeadrockstarclub.com . The nomenies for this years awards were annouced recently in johannesburg newtown by CEO Randal Abrahams There were 29 categories and the top five categories are :
